Prop Firm Total Cost Calculator
The evaluation fee on the pricing page is never the real number — most traders fail their first attempt at least once, and every reset or retry adds another charge on top. This calculator adds in your expected number of attempts to show what getting funded actually costs.
Reset fee estimates in the presets are ballpark figures for a mid-size account (~$100K) — actual reset pricing scales with account size and changes with promo codes, so confirm the exact number on the firm's own pricing page. Most firms only refund the original evaluation fee, never the reset fees themselves — this calculator assumes that's the case.
Why "expected resets" is the number that actually matters
A $495 evaluation fee looks cheap right up until you fail it twice and pay $150 to retry each time — now you're at $795 before you've made a single funded dollar. Firms with a lower headline price but no refund can end up more expensive than a pricier firm that gives your evaluation fee back, once you factor in how many attempts it realistically takes most traders to pass.
Where the pricing numbers come from
Base evaluation prices are pulled from our Prop Firm Rules Comparison Table; reset fee context comes from FTMO Reset Fee Explained. Firms change pricing and promo codes constantly — treat presets as a starting point, not a quote.
